OUR THREE OBJECTIVES:
The Flight:
10,000 km, 108 days, 9 provinces ..including 3 islands and sections of 2 oceans!
|
This summer, Benjamin Jordan will fulfill his long time dream of flying a paraglider across his homeland. With the support of his ground crew and generous Canadians dotting the challenging landscape, he will harness the inspiration and support required to realize this dream while making a significant, positive impact in the lives of Canadian youth and their communities. |

 |
Photographs from the journey will be presented in a beautiful documentary on-line and in a book format, to be released in time for the 2009 holiday season. Proceeds from book sales will be donated to underprivileged Canadian children camps for the following summer.
|
With Youth Camps:
50 presentations, 4,000 inspired campers!
Canada is blessed with thousands of summer camps, each with the common focus of providing youth with a solid foundation for developing social and leadership abilities, through participating in exciting group activities in a safe, fun and natural environment.
The campaign's route and schedule will work around pre-arranged landings at camps, where Jordan will deliver short, inspiring presentations on the flight. Following these, he will arrange the campers into large formations, launch the glider, photograph the formation from above, then fly onward.
Fundraising:
$500,000 raised, 30,000 books, 2000 new campers!
A good portion of our fundraising will be obtained through personal and corporate donations by mail and through our website.
Jordan's photography will also play a significant role in this effort through the sale of beautiful aerial photographs found online throughout the campaign, as well as through sales of a photo documentary book released prior to the 2009 holiday season. $10 from each sale will be put towards our cause.
