Cross-country Paraglider lands safely in St John's after 10,000km World Record flight
September 7th, 2009 - St. John's, NL - September 7th, 2009 - St. John's, NL - Canadian paraglider pilot, Benjamin Jordan has just got his feet back under him after an unbelievable 10,000 km, cross-Canada voyage. The World Distance Record flight, which began in Tofino, BC on May 15th, was designed to inspire Canadians, and send kids from low-income families off to summer camp.

Over the three and a half month journey, Jordan and his team made scheduled stops at schools and youth camps delivering inspiring presentations on flight, tackling fear and achieving dreams. Children were arranged into creative formations on the ground and photographed from the sky as Jordan flew off.

These stunning aerial images are available for purchase through their website (aboveandbeyondcanada.com) to benefit the cause, and will be released in book form in the next few weeks. Through book and print sales, the team hopes to raise $500,000 for youth before next summer rolls around.
