Rainbow Haven Opportunities Fund

Rainbow Haven has been assisting less fortunate children since 1919. First as the Rainbow Haven Summer Camp established to provide children in need with a safe, meaningful set of experiences in the great out-of-doors and now as the Rainbow Haven Opportunities Fund.

The Rainbow Haven Opportunities Fund works with social agencies and communities to identify particular needs and provide funding for children in a variety of personal development and recreational programs.

The Fund offers financial assistance to youth, up to and including 17 years of age, allowing them to access camps and recreational programs providing them with the opportunity to enrich their lives and enhance their abilities.

The hope is that an investment in our young people now will pay dividends in the future. Young people from around the Province have been funded to attend a variety of camps including leadership, wilderness, environmental, adventure, church, sports, French, music, etc. All the children assisted would not have been able to participate in any of the programs due to the financial circumstances of their families and/or guardians.

The Rainbow Haven Opportunities Fund operates without any government assistance and will continue to do so. The full amount of your donation reaches the children in need in our Province as The Chronicle Herald absorbs the administrative costs of the Fund.
