SCI-FI Science Camp  (Saskatchewan)

SCI-FI Science Camps was started in 1989 by undergraduate students in the College of Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. Since then, we have grown into a successful year-round program. One of our mandates is to ensure that ALL youth have the opportunity to experience science, engineering, and technology in a fun and exciting way. Just this last year, SCI-FI was able to reach over 13,000 students with the message that these subject areas can be both educational and fun! Today, SCI-FI is staffed by Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Biology and Kinesiology students and continues to expand its horizons. We carry out classroom workshops, community programs, and science clubs, and during the summer months of July and August hold eight weeks of camps on the U of S campus. We also run camp in 20 other locations across the province.
