Cross Country Paraglider braves the Cabot Straight Crossing, breaking a world distance record and raising funds to send kids to camp.
August 20th, 2009 - Neils Harbour, NS - Benjamin Jordan is following his dreams and breaking a world record while flying a powered paraglider 10,000 km across Canada to raise money to send kids to camp.

Jordan will be the first powered paraglider pilot to attempt the Cabot Straight Crossing. The flight will happen on the best weather day between August 24-26. Jordan will launch from Neil's Harbour, NS and fly to Port-aux-Basques, NL.

As part of the fund-raising efforts, aerial photographs of our beautiful country, as well as, formation photographs from schools, camps and presentations across Canada are being featured in a book and sold to benefit the charities of each province.

Above and Beyond has teamed up with the Rainbow Haven Opportunities Fund of Nova Scotia and the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign in Newfoundland to ensure that kids get to experience the wonder of summer camp in 2010.
